On March 18, Chinese Ambassador Kuang Weilin made a courtesy call on Sierra Leonean Minister of Youth, Employment and Sports Hon. Mr. Paul Kamara. Ambassador Kuang said that young people are the hope of future, and that the friendly exchanges between the youth of China and Sierra Leone are an integral component of the bilateral friendship. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Sierra Leone in youth training and sports.

For his part, Minister Kamara said that one of the most pressing tasks of the Sierra Leonean government is to enhance youth capacity and to create job opportunities. He expressed appreciation to China for the long-standing support and assistance in this field, and hoped that both sides can cooperate more closely in the areas of training and joint ventures.
